Season I, week 3: frontmodes Kobras 3, Lübeck Bay Seagulls 24 (Final)The Lübeck Bay Seagulls (1-2) were cleary outgained and outpossessed and had four turnovers but thanks to their special teams, they turned out comfortable 24-3 winners against frontmodes Kobras (1-2).
The Seagulls returned a kickoff and a punt for TDs and blocked a field-goal attempt leading to a 47-yd FG on their kickers' only attempt. The Kobras' kicker connected only one of his four attempts.
Both teams scored a combined 17 points within the first five minutes of the game. The Seagulls' RB scored on the second play from scrimmage as he ran in from 41 yds out. The Kobras then drove 49 yds to a FG before the Seagulls' return man scored on the ensuing kickoff return.
During the remaining 55 minutes, the Kobras' defense did their job forcing four turnovers and providing starting positions from the opponents' 34 and 26 but their offense never capitalized and scored no points off turnovers.
