Cup game: Reds win shortest game ever, reach SDC semis (4 October 2012)
SDC I - QF: duffeldoffel's Reds 6, silentsound's Silentknights 0 (Final/0:24)duffeldoffel's Reds reached the QFL Sudden-Death Cup semifinals beating silentsound's Silentknights in the shortest QFL-sanctioned game of Football Fever ever.
In the semis, the Reds will host either the Dicey Beasts or independent Niners Sparrows.
On the very first play-from-scrimmage the Reds' RB got the handoff and then romped 82 yds through the secondary to give the 'Knights the sudden death after only 24 seconds of play.
It was the longest play in the history of the Reds' franchise.
The Reds had won the toss and the 'Knights probably felt pretty good as their kick-coverage unit forced the Reds to start from their own 18.
However, the 'Knights' defense ranking next-to-last in the QFL had a very cold start into the game which was over before the 'Knights even had a chance to touch the football.
The Reds' RBs have the lowest yards-per-carry average in the league.
