QFL announce playoff referees and Bowl venues (21 March 2021)
The QFL have announced that Fever Bowl IV will be held at the "EyeBowl", home of the Eagle Eyes, as virtual venue of the biggest game of Football Fever™.Accordingly, the_hawk has been awarded refereeing duties for the QFL championship game in recognition of his refereeing performances throughout this season.
The preceeding Divisional Playoff games will be reffed by frontmode and duffeldoffel.
The new QFL world chanpions will succeed three-time Fever Bowl champions duffeldoffel's Reds whose owner ended his coaching career prior to this season.
While the Flash 80s and Jetto Basterds have already clinched their playoff spots, the remaining two spots are up for grabs for the Prussian Warriors, Niners Sparrows and silentsound's Silentknights.
Meanwhile, the QFL all-star game will be held at the Flash 80s' "there he gore's dome" and reffed by their owner, Kai.
For this season, the Ice Bowl undergoes a change in format as QFL Commissioner igor and QFL Vice President duffeldoffel will both draft two non-playoff coaches for their respective all-star teams.
Among the coaches eligible for the Ice Bowl are those of frontmodes Kobras, the Dicey Beasts, owl49er's billygoats and the Eagle Eyes. They will be joined by the team losing above mentioned three-way playoff hunt.
