Cup final: Reds force second final game (27 February 2013)
2MC I - Final 1: duffeldoffel's Reds 1, Prussian Warriors 0 (Final/3:12/AP)duffeldoffel's Reds forced a second Two-Minute Cup final game when they defeated cup holders Prussian Warriors on an awarded point.
The Reds' defense did an outstanding job forcing a four-and-out and pushing the Warriors back 2 yds. A tackle for a 4-yd loss on second down was the key play during the Warriors' short possession.
The Warriors' defense made a strong bid to save the day when forcing a 3rd-and-10 with a tackle for a loss of 3 yds but runs for 7 and 3 yds all but clinched the game for the Reds.
The Reds' offense made a little mistake on fourth down not going down for a turnover on downs. Instead, they got a new first down and had to go for one more play. Their QB went deep and completed a nice 33-yd pass, however, the receiver fumbled the ball after the catch giving the Warriors a final shot at turning this game around.
Luckily for the Reds, they managed to recover their own fumble earning a second cup final at their own house.
