Malfs the first to crush out of Two-Minute Cupigorz malfunxionistz were the first team to be eliminated from the inaugural QFL Two-Minute Cup falling to silentsound's Silentknights on an awarded point.
Even though the 'Knights finished their possession with a four-and-out after the Malfs had registered at least one first down on a penalty, their fourth-down rush for 7 yds to their own 28 was enough to clinch a spot in the next elimination round.
The Malfs longest play - if you will - was a 5-yd defensive-holding call for an automatic first down. Other than that, they had three incompletion, a run for no gain, a run for short loss and a run for short gain and finished their possession at their own 25.
After a 2-yd run, a short loss and an incompletion, the 'Knights needed 4 yds to at least reach a second possession period and finally, their RB broke through the defensive front for the game-winning gain.
The 'Knights had had a fumble on second down but the Malfs defense failed to recover the loose ball.
