Recap

Warriors win in QFL-record comeback fashion

The Prussian Warriors (2-0) made up an early 17-point deficit before halftime and scored 29 unanswered points en route to a 32-24 victory over frontmodes Kobras (0-2).

The Warriors' RBs ran for 239 yds and a score and their QB threw for 192 yds and a pair of TDs contributing to the reigning Gothic Division champions' seventh regular-season win in a row.

The Kobras' QB finished their first two possessions with TD passes for 5 and 8 yds and their kicker added a 28-yd FG on their third possession as the Kobras rushed ahead 17-0. Their QB finished the game with 150 passing yards and a franchise-record rating of 115.2.

The Kobras were in possession to even further stretch their lead when they recovered a fumble deep inside Warriors' territory but with their next play from scrimmage, they lost a fumble themselves causing a huge momentum shift.

The Warriors rode their momentum scoring on a 7-yd pass and a 1-yd run with a 49-yd FG in between to tie the game with three minutes to play in the first half. Their defense then forced a three-and-out giving the offense the opportunity to drive for the 20-17 halftime lead.

The Warriors' defense contributed three sacks and three fumble recoveries to the win. Their kicker connected from 49, 27, 41 and 31 yds but also missed an extra point.

With 6:12 minutes remaining in the game, the Kobras found their scoring ways again cutting a 12-point deficit down to five points on an 18-yd run but they never got another scoring opportunity.

While the Warriors are well on their way to return to the playoffs, the Kobras find themselves under pressure early in the season. With two division rivals being 2-0, the Kobras may have to win out to make the playoffs.
