Recap

Warriors clinch playoffs, silence the 'Knights

The Prussian Warriors (4-1) clinched their spot in the playoffs with a 33-3 blowout win against silentsound's Silentknights (2-3) falling only 48 seconds short of a shutout.

The Warriors' QB completed 13-of-21 for 145 yds and a pair of TDs and their RBs ran for 237 yds and three scores. Their defenders allowed the 'Knights' QB only six completions for 32 yds and contributed four sacks, an interception and two fumble recoveries to the Warriors' fourth consecutive win.

The Warriors' defense forced and recovered a fumble on the first play from scrimmage and the offense capitalized when their RB ran in from 22 yds out on their third play.

The 'Knights defense held their own during length of the first half forcing four punts including three three-and-outs but their offense turned the ball over on downs in the Warriors' red zone early in the second quarter when they decided to go for it on 4th-and-6 but fell 1 yd short of a new first down.

With two late TD runs for 59 and 7 yds, the Warriors stormed ahead 21-0 at halftime and they added a 2-yd TD pass on their first second-half possession, a 97-yd drive.

The 'Knights' RBs ran for 215 yds but also had five fumbles. The 'Knights' only little success came with 48 seconds left to play when their kicker scored a 34-yd field goal.

The Warriors not only clinched their playoff spot but also celebrated the Gothic Division title when the news arrived that the Lübeck Bay Seagulls lost to the Dicey Beasts.

The 'Knights are not in control of their own playoff destiny anymore. Not only do they need a win against frontmodes Kobras in their regular-season finale but also help from the SimKonville Fraggles (against MoRe's Moles) and - of all teams - the Warriors (against the Seagulls).
