Recap

Warriors reach Two-Minute Cup final

QFL cup holders Prussian Warriors are the first team to reach the Two-Minute Cup final after beating the Dicey Beasts on an awarded point.

Defenses dominated in this game in which the Warriors beat the opposition by 4 yds even though they never made it past their own 21-yd line.

The Beasts started with an imcompletion and a 2-yd run but on their third play, their RB was stopped in the backfield for a loss of 5 yds. A defensive-offside call on 4th-and-13 helped the Beasts' case at first, but on the next play, their RB was stopped in the backfield again terminating the Beasts' possession at their own 17.

Because of the fact that the Beasts actually lost yardage during their possession, the Warriors appeared on a safe way through to the cup final. However, the Warriors found themselves trailing by 6 yds as their RB was stopped for a loss of 4 yds followed by an imcompletion and a 5-yd illegal-motion call cancelling out an 8-yd pass. But their RB saved the day for the Warriors with runs for 7 and 3 yds.

While the Warriors need only one win out of up to two cup finals to retain the QFL cup, the Beasts need a win in the elimination final and then two wins against the Warriors in the cup finals.
