QFL No-Foot-Ball Cup
The QFL No-Foot-Ball Cup is a single-elimination tournament open for QFL franchises and independent teams. The first-round matchups and the tournament bracket are determined by open draw. Special rules:
- The winner of the coin toss may choose whether to begin the game on offense or defense. The game-opening drive will start at the offense's 40-yd line.
- There will be no punts and no field-goal attempts. Offenses will be required to "go for it" on each down.
- After a touchdown, a two-point-conversion attempt is mandatory.
- After a score (plus two-point-conversion attempt, if applicable), the game will continue as if the ensuing free kick has gone out of bounds.
- If trailing after a score (plus two-point-conversion attempt, if applicable), the "kicking team" may opt to send their offense to play an untimed 4th-and-10 from the "kicking line" replacing an onside-kick situation.
- In case of an accepted and enforced penalty against the offense on an onside-kick-replacing fourth-down play, the "kicking team" may opt to have the game continued as if a free kick has gone out of bounds or replay the untimed fourth down with the penalty yards added to the yards-to-go.
- In case of an accepted and enforced penalty against the defense on an onside-kick-replacing fourth-down play which does not result in a new first down, the "kicking team" may opt to have the game continued as if a free kick has gone out of bounds or replay the untimed fourth down with the penalty yards deducted from the yards-to-go.
- If a game is tied after 15 minutes of play (timed like a fourth quarter), the game shall continue (without an overtime-kickoff situation) and be decided by the next score (either TD or safety).
- Each team has a total of three timeouts available throughout a game.
- Otherwise, the QFL rules valid for the current QFL season apply.
